The bodybuilder reckons it takes a gruelling weight lifting regime not a 15 minutes abs blast to get in shape
Jodie Marsh has taken a swipe at the plethora of "rubbish" workout DVDs released by young celebrities.
The glamour model reckoned following one of the 15-minute videos on offer from "20 and 22-year-olds" wouldn't cut it when it came to transforming her body.
The Celebrity Big Brother star admitted she followed an extensive training regime, which included weight lifting and high-protein foods, during an interview with Reveal.
"I'm 37, I'm no spring chicken, yet I still have a good body, so I'm living proof that if you do it right, you can always look good," she told the magazine.
"I haven't even trained for ages but once you have definition, it stays.
"Some of these girls who bring out DVDs are 20- and 22-year-olds, and I think, 'You should have a good body at that age!'
"When I was that age, I could eat McDonald's every day and never put on weight. So when I see the DVDs that say 'Follow this and you'll look like me', I think, 'No you won't, not if you're 37!'" she added.
"All that 'get a six-pack in 15 minutes' stuff is rubbish. No way will you work out for 15 minutes and get a body like that. You've got to follow a good diet and do the right kind of exercise for your body."
Jodie has released her own well-being range JST Jodie, which she developed and used herself after winning gold in a bodybuilding championship in 2012.
